Tracking My Progress

I am tracking my weight loss on a spreadsheet and I am using a tracker, but I wanted something more. I needed something more tangible so I came up with a plan. I purchased two votive holders (shot glasses would have worked, too!) and some pretty pebbles. I counted out 85 pebbles to represent the pounds that I need to lose. Each time I lose a pound I move a pebble. This morning I was able to move my 9th pebble over!

  1. Way to go, Beth! I like that you are creating visual reminders for yourself. Those are really helpful. I'd like to hear your thoughts on LoseIt as you go, too. I used it for a long time before I switched to MyFitnessPal. Keep up the good work -Philip

    Thank you so much for your support and for being the first person to comment on my new blog! It means so much to me. I had been using FatSecret then switched to LoseIt just a week ago. I went with it just because I was able to connect with my daughter on there. I love it so far!
